I was totally confused and chose random career options without giving a second thought. Then, I got to know about digital marketing and started reading about it just out of curiosity. Read so many blogs and articles on it. That was the time when I was sure about my dream career. I had no expectations, no plans, no idea what was going to happen or what it would look like.
Then, I found out about this digital marketing course. Everyone seemed to be talking about digitalisation. The course was really expensive in my mind at the time. There was no way I could join the course. But, anyhow I arranged the expense and joined it. My teacher encouraged me on the path I was on and gave me new clarity.
I knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to be one of the best digital marketer and train people & business owners and help them to use social media and other techniques of digital marketing. And then I got strategic. I created a plan and was much focussed. Everything I did was only to achieve my goal. That was the time when I was not ready to move on with no strategy!
With patience and time, I started achieving those goals! A few months later, I started working with paying clients. You don’t have to win every time. Sometimes you may make some weak strategies as well but that is not the end. I set out clear goals and the steps necessary to reach those goals so that I can continue to grow my business every year.
First, try to examine WHAT do you want from your social media marketing. Once, you will figure out what you want, you can easily move to next level to decide how you can achieve your goals.
Try out these steps in order to strategize your Social Media Marketing:
- Research and try to figure out your target audience. Then only you can make a wise choice about the social media platform.
- Determine your budget before deciding anything else.
- You need to schedule your posting on social media so that you won’t miss it because of any urgency. And, you need to find out the time when your target audience is available online. Discuss and decide the types of content you will produce for your media update like videos, audios, images, podcasts, etc.
- Analyze the success and completion of your goals on regular basis. It is important in order to find if the strategy is working for you or not. There are certain tools available to support your postings, Scheduling, Analysis.
There are no fixed set of rules about strategizing social media. But you can use the tips and tricks given to choose your strategies wisely. And think how you can craft it the right way, creating the right content for the right audience, and transform your business.
